Dr. Theresa Micheli

Veterinarian

Dr. Theresa Miceli has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 8 years old and has always had a deep love for animals.

Dr. Miceli graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in 2009. She then completed an 18-month rotating internship at the Glasgow University Small Animal Hospital and worked in private practice in England.

Life’s crazy circumstances brought Dr. Miceli to Edmonton and to MCAH. She is very excited to be working with such an amazing and supportive team!

Dr. Miceli’s main interest is pain management and she has completed courses in acupuncture and electro-acupuncture with the Western Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She also has experience in acupressure therapy, low-level laser therapy and massage therapy. Dr. Miceli hopes to eventually set up pain management services at MCAH that would include acupuncture, low-level laser therapy, massage therapy, and pain medication management to name a few.

Dr. Miceli has lived in a lot of places all over the world and loves languages. She speaks some French, some Italian, and has recently been learning Dutch! She enjoys exploring new places with her husband and loves her dog, Nova, and her cat, Sam.
